Works perfect for a bladesmith! I have the ceramic probe in my propane forge and use the hand probe to get the quenching oil to temp. Easy to swap back and forth with the plug in design. "***Note***" I had to to Dremel the ceramic holes that the wire probe fits through because the holes didn't line up with the screw locks properly. Only complaint. Easy fix.

I would not have any problem doing business with them again.

Well made, the two thermocouple are very accurate. Matched boiling water within 1 degree of each other. Large display, makes reading easy.

I bought this unit a few weeks ago to monitor kiln temperature for raku. I have now used it half a dozen times and it appears to function as it ought. In comparison to cone temperature, it's right in the ballpark.

The only issue I have had is that one of the wire terminals broke (after a couple years of heavy use to be fair) - so picked up some at my local electronics supplier and it has been fine since. The ceramic protectors on the probe have some wear, but hasn`t been an issue. I'd say this is a good unit for the money.
