This is a brand new heavy duty Ceramic Sheath / Protection Tube for high temperatures up to 2372 °F (1300 °C).
- This ceramic sheath is for protecting the high Temp Kiln Thermocouple to operate in the kiln heated with fuel.
- It prevents the thermocouple element from expose to the reducing gas and extends its life.
- It will also extend the thermocouple's life even for electric heated kiln.
- Another major advantage of these protection tubes is that you can replace your old thermocouples without changing the protection tube.
- The tube can be easily replaced independently from the thermocouples. They are not sealed or cemented together.
