The K-Type EGT Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor is designed for high-temperature monitoring in racing, tuning, testing, industrial heating, and general temperature control applications.

This probe can be used for exhaust gas temperature measurement, turbocharger monitoring, diesel engine testing, marine engines, generators, ovens, kilns, smokers, heating chambers, pipelines, and pressurized vessel applications.

The straight 1/8 NPT threaded probe is compact and easy to install in small threaded ports, welded bungs, exhaust fittings, or drilled exhaust/header pipes using a suitable clamp or adapter. The small 1/8 NPT thread size makes it useful where space is limited, while the compact sensing tip provides fast response to temperature changes.

The cable is protected with stainless steel braided shielding over fiberglass insulation, helping protect the thermocouple wires from heat, abrasion, and rugged working conditions. The yellow mini K-type connector allows easy connection to compatible K-type temperature meters, PID controllers, EGT gauges, and data loggers.

Important: This is a straight EGT probe, not a 90-degree/right-angle bent probe. Please confirm that your installation has enough straight clearance before ordering.

Installation Note

Depending on the exhaust diameter, this probe can be installed using a suitable muffler clamp, exhaust clamp, welded bung, or 1/8 NPT threaded fitting.

For clamp-style installation, drill a properly sized hole in the exhaust or header pipe, insert the EGT probe through the hole, and tighten the clamp or fitting securely.

Please make sure the probe does not interfere with moving parts and that there is enough straight clearance for installation.
